Best way to treat parasites in community tank?

I have a few platies that I've noticed having some stringy poop. I've heard this means parasites. I'm wondering the best way to treat in a community tank. The tank is a 38 gallon bow front. Platies, sword tails, guppies, glo tetras, snails. I have PraziPro and ParaGuard on hand but I don't want to hurt my snails.

Thoughts?

PraziPro should be safe for inverts.

PraziPro should be safe for inverts.

So just treat the whole tank?

Will it hurt shrimp?

Inverts include shrimp, so no.

Inverts = invertebrates = animals without a backbone = snails, shrimp, some humans

Yep, treat the whole tank.

I was just clarifying since I'd only mentioned the snails.

Hence why I said inverts, not snails

Still pretty new to all of this ... don't want to assume something and misunderstand. I dosed the whole tank and everyone seems fine so far!

They seem to be fine. I haven't seen any more stringy poop that I've noticed.

I just hope that wasn't the cause of my snails' demise ...

Here are the survivors munching on some fish flakes.
