Best way to ship ramshorn snails?

I’m considering selling some of my ramshorn snails. I’m wondering what would be the best and/or cheapest way to package them for shipping. I have some experience shipping fish but I’ve never shipped snails before. I’ve seen some people don’t ship them in water and only use wet paper towels? Anyone have thoughts or experience?

I recently had some assassin snails shipped to me and they were put in a bag of water and package the same as the shrimp shipped to me. All arrived alive and healthy and unstressed. I would ship them the same way you ship fish.

Snails are mailed in wet paper towels all the time. It’s a very common practice. You can google ramshorn snails and get lots of info on them.
