Best Way To Remove Co2 From Tank

I want to remove CO2 from one of my tanks as I no longer require it. Should I just remove it and dial back the lighting, or gradually reduce both?

Either way is fine, but to avoid shocking the plants - leading to dieback and potential algae source - I'll just dial it back, starting off with the lighting.

Only issue is that the lighting has presets and isn't fully adjustable, would you still recommend?

Ouch. Then I'll just dial back the CO2, and depending on the duration light is on, turn that 'back' as well.

6 hours a day, intensity setting 3 of 6.

That shouldn't be an issue IMO.
