I'm finally moving closer to work! Yea for cutting commute time in half.

What is the best way to move a pair of large angels?

Type of net?
size of net?
technique?
Bag separately I presume (where can I buy big bags)?

Seriously she is FAST and I need to be real careful with her, she can only see out of one eye.

Details: approx 3 yrs old, he is a standard size koi, she is a bit diminutive (in size only) a lemon blue marble is my best guess based on coloration (they were rescues, free to a good home so dunno for sure).

Current tank is a 46 Bowfront. Hopefully moving into a 72 Bowfront...will have the luxury of the tank set up prior to catching the fish

I would transport in 5 gallon buckets.

Just run an airstone in the bucket and keep the media wet.

Your fish should be fine.
Thanks! Can I put them both in the same bucket?

It is the getting them into the bucket that gives me cold sweats...

Not terribly worried about the airstone, the ride is less than an hour but I do have a power inverter so not impossible.

How big are we talking about?

If its big angels, I would move them by using the spare fish bags that I have on hand. If not, you could ask your local petstore for a couple.

If not, I would suggest an icecream container. Has a lockable lid so you know theres no spills and due to them being coloured, helps reduce stress by staying in a dark environment....
