I have a 1g tank that I would like to use as a (small) hospital/Q tank, but I havent found a good way to clean it. Its to small to put a syphon in, so how do I clean it?
It has a filter, but also how often do I need to clean it (with the Fish in it)

I have a small 1.5 gallon shrimp tank. I'm able to use a siphon made for betta tanks that works quite well. For smaller water changes/debris pick up I use a turkey baster.

I swish my filter in old tank water once a week when I do the water change.

I'm sure someone out there has a better way (I'm new!) but that's what I find works for me.

For my tanks under 5 gallons, I just use a turkey baster. It can take awhile, but I haven't found a better method yet.
