2 Gallon Tank Best Non-Tap Water to use for Aquarium?

Hello. I live in Louisville, CO where the insane fires just destroyed half the city. Our house is fine (and so is our Betta after a couple days away from home in a kitchen storage dish!). However, we are under a boil-advisory for our water as it is not guaranteed to be clean. The complication is that our Betta has some fin rot that I was treating with daily water changes in a smaller, un-cycled tank. I am trying to keep his larger (10g) tank cycled using ammonia and it is currently showing unsafe ammonia levels as it hasn't processed the ammonia yet. Anyway, he needs a water change in his quarantine tank (3 days and counting) but I don't trust the water even after boiling as I don't know what is in it (though it appears clear). What is the best non-tap water I can use for this purpose? Spring? Reverse-Osmosis? Does it need any altering to suit him? Would it be best for me to try and go to a local municipality with safe tap water and fill a couple gallons with their water (this would be kind of weird to do but I could probably find a place to do it). Someone (on Amazon) who used the Tetra water conditioner said it killed their Betta so I am nervous about that too. Any help would be appreciated.

RO water is nice and soft for bettas. If you can find jugs of them I recommend it.

Does RO water need any added minerals or can I just adjust temp and put him in? Maybe dose it with Prime to make sure there is no chlorine (there shouldn't be)?

The best for me would be the cheapest Walmart has.

Thanks for the help and well-wishes, much appreciated! My other tank cycled today and is showing perfect conditions so I will use water from that tank until the water situation is back to normal.

Yes it does as it has zero micro nutrients like calcium and magnesium so I’d use spring :)
