Best Food For Kuhli Loach?

I have a KuhlI loach in my 30 gallon (I’m getting more), and I want to find something he really likes. He nibbles at the flakes I put in but I don’t think he likes them very much. He likes bloodworms but he struggles to find the end so he can slurp it like a noodle and he usually gives up. His fav so far is snail, it’s chunky so he can find it easily with his barbels, but it’s tuff so he takes a while to finish a piece. I’m gonna try cucumber, live brine shrimp, and mussels. I want stuff that’ll sink, is chunky so he can find it easily, and soft so he doesn’t have to work out to eat. Also should I cook the mussels to make it more tender or is it better raw? Any suggestions for what to feed him?

I've never given mussels. I'm not really sure about that one.

Ok, I’ll just rip them apart to make them easier to eat.

Mine went rat terrier on the ramshorns in the tank, they would grab the snail in their mouth and shake them until they prised the snails out, however I would not suggest adding ramshorns to a tank ever. They enjoyed shrimp pellets, frozen mysis, brine, bloodworm, and various other meaty foods.

Anyone reading here have experience with whether KhulI or black loach will eat minI ramshorns? Biggest (pest) snails in my tank are about 3 maybe 4mm. Would they leave my nerites alone?

Mine ate ramshorns, enough to clear the tank, they didn't touch the MTS, they didn't bother the nerite when in the other tank either.
