Best Fish For Gallon Hexagon Tank

    I want some nice medium sized fish that will look great in a 35 gallon hexagon tank.

    Use dwarf cichlids as a centerpiece! Bolivian Rams, Apistogramma Cacatuoides, Apistogramma Borelli are all pretty cool. I'd add some kind of school as well. But I'd pick a centerpiece, then work around that fish. Like, what's temperature and aggression compatible, etc.

    Well it depends on if it's going to viewed from all sides or not. Because if it was then I'd put most of my scape in the middle and have a decent sized school of something.

    I think know it'd look great having them buzz around the outside.

    I put Neon tetras in mine. The Platies you see in the picture were a mistake. When I purchased the Neons from the LFS there were Platy babies in the bag, but they get along well together.
