Best Filter For A 6 Gallon Tank.

In my 6 gallon/25L tank I am currently using a ciano cf40 filter and this is okay,but it is certainly not the best it get bits of plant stuck in it. What would be the best filter for a planted 6 gallon tank?

 

I'm fairly certain that all filters will get plant bits in them. It happens in all of my planted tanks.

A sponge filter creates very low flow.

 

I have a sponge filter and a stingray filter in my 5g, and they both work wonderfully!!

I personally feel that sponge filter do not clean very well.

Sponge filters focul less on the speed of the water cycle and more on the density of good bacteria. So they are both effective it just depends if you prefer fast water with less bacteria or slow water with more bacteria. Arguably the latter is more effective but it's up to you! That's why I have 2 filters
