Best Fast Growing Plants for 20g Long?

I currently have a setup of 4 20g long tanks with apistos and corys in them and am looking for input for suggested plants that I might be able to add to this assortment. Preferably shorter tanks, as working in them with leaves, or constantly having to trim stems would be rather annoying. It is worth noting that these setups are basically low tech breeding setups. Just sand, a sponge filter, and a chinese light- nothing fancy. Mostly looking for plants that can be separated, like if riccia and flame moss got tangled, its just a mess without tearing it apart.

Currently, I am growing:
-Riccia
-Flame Moss (Java doesn't grow well for me)
-Guppy Grass
-Attempting Suswassertang, hasn't come around yet
-Also, I have like 7 types of crypts, but they grow slow so, eh

Planning on adding:
-Dwarf Sagittaria
-Echinodorus Magdalenensis

I already have both of these, but not into these tanks yet.

Suggestions?

A plant I do have, but have way too much is stargrass. Its practically growing out my ears.

Thanks for reading!

My Brazilian pennywort is rather fast growing and can be grown planted or floating (so substrate wouldn't be a concern). Also java fern or windelov (not super fast growing but they pop out babies frequently which help fill in - and again, don't need special substrate since you'll stick them to hardscape). My dwarf sag took a while but is starting to spread nicely now. My pogostemon stellatus octopus is super fast growing...but it gets really tall - it lays across the top back of my 20 long and I have to trim it every few weeks. I have eco complete so I don't know how well it would do in sand. I also have a red parrot feather and a myrio green that both go bananas but get tall and would need more upkeep than you may be looking for.

I actually have all of those plants except the pennywort and the red parrot feather because that one is illegal due to invasiveness species. I should get different types of java ferns too. I have the regular kind and I probably have 20+ 5"+ plants just scattered between tanks. I was really looking for plants that I haven't seen. I will probably add pennywort to my arsenal here soon.

I'm a big fan of echinodorus parviflorus 'tropica' which is a non-grass like small sword plant (max height 4 inches); very different look from Echinodorus Magdalenensis. I also like crypts. Btw if you let the pogostemon stellatus octopus grow above the water line it will produce a nice flower. The part above water will transition to a emersed form.

If hornworth takes to your tank it will grow fairly fast (too fast?); but in a low tech tank most plants are going to be a bit slower.

I do quite like this suggestion for a sword. I think I have access to a few of them at my LFS actually and I might have to capitalize upon that. If not I can probably get it on ebay. Thank you for the unique suggestion!

Just remember that many species of swords can get quite large - far taller than 12 inches so be sure to pick ones that will stay small or at least short ;) Then again you might enjoy growing them above the water line if you do not have a covering.
