Best Fast Growing Plant - Low Tech

HI all,

Looking to increase my plant headcount with some fast growing low light plants in a low tech setup.

Can anyone advise on their favourite fast growing plants for this type of scenario to eat up extra nutrients in the tank? Don't have to be the prettiest right now, I'm looking to get more balance in my algae prone tank right now...

Excess nutrient suckers AND fast growing? Duckweed.
Fast growing in general? Jungle val.

All val will melt with excel IMO.

Look for fast growing plants, they are great nutrient export! Floating plants especially, but also plants like pothos that hang in the the tank (roots only) will help export a lot of nutrients.
