Hey all, Just got a 35 gallon hexagon aquarium.
I want to have Peacock or Mbuna Cichlids in this tank.
Which types do you recommend and how many?

I'm also setting up the sand, rocks, filtration, and letting the nitrogen cycle run for a couple of weeks.

I wouldn't do any kind of Peacock or Mbuna in that size, just too small. Only options I can think of are Apistogramma species, dwarf cichlids like GBRs or Bolivian Rams, or shelldwellers. But I can't tell you anything about the latter.

Maybe you could do a pair of electric blue acara? I agree with the previous post, no mbunas or peacocks in that tank size.

Electric Blue Acara. Beautiful, peaceful fish that has interesting behaviors.
