Hi all!
I am making my Christmas List and I wanted to know what is the best live BBS hatchery? I have seen many people using the San Francisco Bay Brand Brine Shrimp Hatchery Kit and was wondering what supplies do I need to use one of those? Thanks!

Distilled water should do it. When I bought the SF Bay hatchery, it came with eggs but I chose to buy the premium eggs separately (they have a better hatch rate).

Edit to add: A small light would also be helpful.

What equipment do you need? Air pump? Light?

Sorry, I’m not familiar with that one. But I would recommend the one I linked.
How does the one you recommended work? What are the steps to hatch eggs?

1. Add distilled water and ocean salt mixture (sorry, I forgot about needing that) to hatchery.
2. Drop brine shrimp eggs into water.
3. Put lid on hatchery and shine a small light on center opening. Light attracts the hatched BBS to center opening.

Eggs hatch in 18 - 24 hours.

Do I need some sort of heater or thermometer? Would a LED desk lamp work?

This salt works.

I‘ve never used a heater or thermometer. Hatched mine in a room around 70 - 72 F. Yep, a desk lamp would work.

Do they just take longer to hatch at that temp?

Nope, they start hatching after about 18 hours.
