I'm considering adding to the plants in my tank. I prefer plants which don't need their roots buried and I'd like something for the back of the tank.

    I'm currently housing 11 minnows and 3 x ramshorn snails in 90l.

    Any recommendations?

I like the look of the Java - very pretty. Is it easy to care for?

I had some Java Moss that was doing well and suddenly it almost all died off. Now I only have a few small sprigs that develop shoots from time to time. All other plants have no issues. I think maybe my nitrates dropped too low and it lost out in competition with the Anubias and Java Fern.
