Best aquarium brand?

Hello,

I much a total beginner looking to set up a 75 gallon freshwater community tank.
I'm wondering if anyone can share their experience with Marineland tanks.
They are the easiest to find where I live and also in my price range.
I have heard some horror stories about them leaking or completely failing. Is this common enough that I should be worried or search for another brand?

they have good reviews and are an old/reliable brand. I don't use them though. I use Fluval and EHIME Jager.

OP is talking about tanks. Marineland, Aqueon and Top fin are three big brands for glass aquariums. I have an Aqueon 20’gallon with no complaints

I know. Fluval makes tanks too so I wouldn't hesitate to buy one if I was getting another one.

 

That’s good to know. Are Aqueon and Marineland comparable in quality? I may be able to find an Aqueon near me.

Exactly where I bought my 20 gallon. Was $22 out the door. Can’t beat it

I‘m in Canada not sure if they do the 1$ per gallon sale here or if that applies to tanks as bit as 75g?
