Berried Rcs Scutariella Eggs?

Yesterday I saw one cherry shrimp with a white worm sticking out of its rostrum, I was planning on doing a salt dip today. But I couldn't find that shrimp anymore. Good news is that I've been waiting for this tank to get Berried and to my surprise, I saw two females berried. Bad news is that I think one may have Scutariella eggs. Please take a look at the picture and help me confirm.

This is strange they normally start on the nostrum but obviously this is not the case a closer photo if you can, although not deadly to shrimp most people want them gone so an (Aquarium salt) dip is the way

I have them on some new shrimp as well. Those look like the eggs and will continue on and infect all shrimp after molt so you have to remove molts for several weeks from tank. I can't
in my tank so I will have to treat whole tank. A real pain and apparently does not kill them but will kill weak ones and potentially the young.

Thanks for the replies, would you think that it would be a problem since she is berried, since she probably won't molt for awhile due to her eggs. Will that parasite eggs hatch while she is berried or do they wait until she molts.

Your shrimp will be fine these are leeches and will not affect the eggs, the best way to kill these without any problems with your tank is Planaria zero this is N°1 in my med cabinet for shrimp
