I noticed yesterday that my Dwarf GouramI has a little bend in his spine. I decided not to do anything because it was late at night and I figured maybe he had a muscle cramp (again, it was late!).

Anyways. He is eating fine, none of his harlequin rasbora tank mates are showing any symptoms of any disease, only his swimming is affected. Usually, its just a bit awkward as in he is trying to stay in a straight line. He is also hiding a bit more often in the plants.

I read
GouramI bent spine! - Aquarium Advice - Aquarium Forum Community
This thread and found out that the op decided to put his dg down. I don't want to go that route, but if I really have to I will.

Pictures coming soon (but his spine is definetly curved).

You don't need to euthanize unless the defect really impacts his quality of live. Sometimes its diet based, what are you feeding your tank?

Sometimes tropical (its a brand) pellets, and other times frozen bloodworms
