Beach Driftwood Thoughts Needed

aygonzalez12

So I went to the beach with absolutely no luck in finding driftwood. I drove further to a island beach and cut off what I could from different branches. I already washed and boiled it and its sitting in a trashcan. Today would be day 3. Sooo here's the thing, the wood is different colors. 1 is a big beautiful burgundy wood, 4 pieces are really dark, 1 small piece is gray, and 4 pieces are brown. So putting those woods together wouldnt exactly look right. I prefer it to be the same colors if possible. I figured I needed more than just a few pieces for a 125gallon tank and I didnt want to drive to island again. It's far lol. Here is some pics of what I retrieved from the island. Would you wait to find more pieces or try to glue them together? What are your thoughts?

Was the wood 100% dry? Was it on a live tree? If so, at the moment it is dangerous for fish. Dont add it until it is 100% free of sap.

Also, not all wood is safe for fish. What type of wood is it?

It was on the beach and yes it was completely dry. Most of those pieces were already really smooth no bark just alot of sand of course. Tree was dead and dry on the beach. I dont know what types of wood they are. I found them and sawed off the piece or picked it up off the sand.
