Bay Area Fishlore Group!!

Nice to see a thread for us NorCal members. Wish I would have seen this before I "re-homed" (aka Gifted) 6 wild caught Columbian Angels to Caesar's here in Santa Rosa. I would have much preferred to give or trade them to a local member.

In any event, I have moved on from cichlids to line-breeding fancy guppies and hope to collaborate with others who have similar interests. Would be nice to have a real club for us local hobbyists (hint, hint)...

 

why does ultimate aquarium never have cories? the last time i went a few months back they had everything, including chili rasboras and discus, but they never seem to have cories.

Sure is quiet in this group! I had no takers for my fish so I "donated" them to Caesar's here in Santa Rosa.

I have a DIY LED project underway involving 6500K 48" strip lights, vinyl gutters for reflectors. Each light should come in under $20.

haven't seen any posts in a while.
do any of you experience problems with buying fish from neptune aquatics and infinite aquarium? all of the fish ive bought from there have come in with some sort of disease, but for some reason all of the fish ive gotten from ultimate aquarium haven't had any diseases on them.
