Is having siblings mate a problem, or is this how we get such strong colors?

I have 2 young mystery snails who hatched in my tank & survived without help. They are both purple with a dark colored foot (my favorite). I don’t know their sex, but can I let them mate with the hope of them producing more purple offspring? I am down to just these two & a chestnut.

Yes, it's fine if they inbreed. It's not usually a problem in fish or snails for many generations.
