Anyone interested in a banana worm starter culture? I've been feeding these to my fry as well as my regular community tank and they love it. They are extremely easy to grow and harvest and need very little maintenance.

From what I've found online, they are similar but a bit smaller.

I've actually read that they are a bit smaller than micro worms. I'm no expert though!

My fish love them! I wipe the sides of my containers and feed them usually a couple times a day along with flakes.

I have more questions haha, do they have a strong odor? Also what would I need to have ready for when they arrive if I got them?
Edit: Nevermind, thanks for all your replies already!

Not really a strong odor. If it gets to stinking it's time for a new culture! I have 3 going and the one in the larger container actually produces the most worms each day. It's sort of a fermenting smell because of the yeast but it's not a nasty smell.

You can actually get everything ready once they arrive but you'll need some plastic containers you can poke tiny holes in the lid. I prefer the large, flat bottomed zip lock containers.
