Hey guys, do any of you know how to plant/take care of banana plant? I am getting ready to start a new tank and I want to experiment with planted aquariums but I am not sure where to start. I have heard that banana plant is fairly simple, is that true?

Yup. Just throw them in and they’ll be fine.
The (banana) part will anchor the plant down so it sits on top of your substrate. The (bananas) should be above your substrate. It will grow in roots

Do I need special substrate, or will regular aquarium gravel work?

Regular should be fine. You can actually leave them to float if you’d like!
That's awesome, thank you so much for helping me figure this out.
