Bala shark with growth - Help

Our bala shark has a growth on his nose. It happened in the last couple of days. Nothing has changed in the tank. What do I do?

 

Post pics and someone should be able to identify the issue... be warned your thread is going to get sidetracked with people most likely saying they aren’t suited for home aquariums as they prefer schools and get rather large... I try to focus on the question usually... I don’t judge...good luck!

What size is the tank? Are there any sharp decorations it can run into? What other fish?
can you post a picture of the growth and the tank?

 

75 gallon tank, there are lots of decorations but he’s been in there for over a year. Kissing gourami, 3 spot gourami, opaline gourami, rainbow shark, 6 skirted tetras, 3 guppies, a bunch of cories (they’ve been breeding- not sure how many) and 1 bully sucker fish

It looks like he just ran into something, do at least 2 75% water changes a week too keep your water clean and it should heal soon.
