I have a Neon Tetra with the similiar problem as the below link.
https://www.jbl.de/de/online-hospital
The site listed it as bacterial infection.

It has been on the tail for a month.

I am not able to purchase the medication listed.
Is there any other medication or remedy that I can use?
I am very afraid that it might died if I quarantined it.
Quarantined a Neon Tetra before with malachite Green(fungus infection) and it died 1 day after.
It was doing fine and active during the fungus infection period of 1 month.

The current one with bacterial infection is active as well.

I've done some searching for the active ingredient and I come up with the same med.
Isn't it available in the UK?

Maybe this will help until someone else comes along:

Just for anyone else who might like another idea: I use melafix to solve the bacterial infections and such that have come up in my tank. It also helps speed up their ability to regenerate their fins if the neons are being nippy.
Hopes this helps someone,
Lee.

Because they are schooling fish, you are probably right that keeping him alone wouldn't help him. He might die from stress.
