Bacterial Bloom While Fishless Cycling

I'm on day two of cycling my 180l, added ammonia yesterday to 4ppm, wantrd 2ppm but not the end of the world. Seeded the filter with some mature media. And added Seachem Stability.

This evening I've noticed a bacterial bloom and wondering if this is normal as it didn't happen when I cycled my 25l

I'm currently on the third day of my cycle in my 20 gallon and also experiencing a bacterial bloom. I believe its normal, but I'm still new to the hobby so I may be wrong.

Yep, completely normal. It'll clear up in a few days. Make sure you continue dosing ammonia while you cycle

Will do for sure! It was fun doing it with my 25l so be interesting to see if any quicker or slower it may be with a larger tank!
