Bacopa Madagascariensis Yellowing and Dying Leaves

I believe the plant I have is a Bacopa Madagascariensis. All my other plants require minimal macro nutrients. I just found out that the lower leaves on the bacopa continue to die because of the lack of macro nutrients. I dose Fluorish after I clean, potassium twice a week, and iron once (mind you I have very few plants). What can I do to restore its health and maintain its growth?

If it has been grown emerse some die-back is normal when it's planted in water.

If not, or if you've had it a while, targeted root feeding might be necessary.

Hope that helps...

Okay thanks. If it continues to die off should I root feed?

Yes you should. I would just put 1 tab at a time. They dissolve easily depending on the brand

Stem plants will lose their lower leaves if there is inadequate light, but will still continue to grow towards the light. For that reason, I can't keep any stem plants because they get very leggy in my tank. Stem plants won't benefit from root feeding as they get all of their nutrients from the water column. Their roots are mainly for anchoring them down.
