I just bought a background for my tank. Problem is I have no clue how to get it to stay on. Please help

What type of background? The 3D that goes in the tank or the one that goes on the back?

I used scotch tape, it works fine.

Some require tape while others have adhesives I believe. I also believe some you add drops of water to get it to stick

Those adhesives are hard to put on. You have to be really careful with them and when you think your done and it's all smoothed out you'll have like a million micro bubbles everywhere.

Moral of the story, get some tape and tape it good.

Thanks. I think thats what Im going to do. When I bought it I was told it should just stick on but that doesn't seem to be the case.
