Back to school (won't be on as much) anybody else?

School starts for me soon this week. With that and cross country won't be on except in the evenings except on the weekends. I sure will miss fishlore in the mornings on the weekends but school is required with an average salary of students of 0$ with 7 hours a day of work plus another sometimes up to a couple more hours of homework

So anybody else going back to school soon?

 

I'm going to school too obviously. I g2g this Monday.

I'll be going back to school but in another 2 weeks or so. I don't really start until a week into Sept. I am only going into grade 12 too. I will be going from 8:45-11:15(2 classes), lunch from 11:15-1:45, and then last class from 1:45-3:00. It is the same for the whole year, so everyone here will see about the same of me as before.

I started on Weds.... 1 year of college down, only 3 more (lol then 2 more after that I guess eventually).... It's nice to be back but I'm already hoping for a snow day or two (even though its 90 out everyday still!) I can always dream, right?

 

I'm going back to school on september 4th. Its just my year (yr 12) and year 7's on that day so should be fun! I guess we have to show the new kids around and sort out what subjects we're taking. But then everyone else comes back on the 5th. At least its a day off on the 3rd! yay! Plus we finish an hour early on the 4th! They probably can't think of anything usefull for us to do to fill up the whole day!

Anyway, won't be on as much either cause school hours are from 8:40am - 3:30! Long day! Most schools start at 8:30 and finish at 3:00 around here, but nooo, my school has to be different! > + then I leave at 8:15 in the morning and get back around 3:50pm. It'll probably be the first thing I do when I get home is come on fishlore, but ill probably have a lot of work to do this year too now that I'm in 6th form.

I'm ready to go back now tho. I have everything I need! and I have the uniform all hung up and ready to be worn. I hate school uniform!

I wish I did. I have tons of homework already and I've been in school for three days. Already essay tests, multiple choice tests, essays due, etc. I guess I won't be on much until this slows down :'(. O and the teacher who goes through a 24 page chapter in 30 minutes

One of my teachers encourages us to take notes on a laptop if we have one.... so while taking notes I sneak in a little fishlore time.... lol she's the one who told us it was ok to use the computer... not my fault that the internet just happens to open up.... or is it?

I'd recommend taking the tank to the dorm or apt and going to school by yourself. The fish don't care much for edumication classes at kollege.

wow, I guess its cool that there are a lot of young peeps on this board. I just finished school (college) and start my new job on tuesday! Majored in Finance. But would rather scuba dive the rest of my life. Will happen when I retire and eventually get a boat.

 

Yeah I didn't realize how many young people were on here until I read the posts about peoples age... makes me feel kinda old, and I'm only 22!

 

I like having my tank at school, just finished two weeks there and am really enjoying having my tank there, but it made me feel old today, having to make arrangements for my babies to be taken care of while I'm home for the long weekend. Luckily, one of my friends lives next door, so I gave her my key and instructions, so they should be well taken care of.

I have to say, of all the pets to have at college, fish are best. They can't escape and survive while loose, they don't stink (unless something is really wrong), and you don't have to worry about giving them attention.

same here...every now and then I will have some work to do on the comp, and sneak on here and read some posts...but no time to post
