I've just seen some little tinny babies in my tank, and I think there baby sword tails but how do you tell? When does it come out that there male or female I've got them in a breeding box but there that tinny I think they may squeeze out the little holes, can some one help me?

Most plastic breeding boxes come with a piece of plastic to cover the grid on the bottom. If you are trying to protect the babies you should be using it. A better choice is to have them in a 5 or ten gallon tank with a foam filter.

If they are swordtails, it takes 6-12 months for the males to "sex up".
