Baby snail...

Today, in my 3.5g (that's been empty for a few weeks minus some wafers to keep the cycle) I found a baby snail. I got a nerite, mystery, 2 ottos, and some elodea and quarantined them for a week in there then put them in my main tank. Haven't changed the water since then. Most of the water in that tank came from my own water, not the store's. It is tiny. I don't know if there are more. Can some people post pictures of baby snails so I can find out what kind it is?

Can you post a picture of the snail? Just trying to make sure it's not a pond snail that hitchhiked into the tank, which can become a real pain if you're not careful with swift removal.

Kinda looks like a rams horn by the stance... Is it like a flat spiral kinda like a squished in cinnamon bun?

I'm not sure... I put my sick glofish in there yesterday and haven't spotted the little snail since last night. Would he reproduce by himself?

If it's a ramshorn or pond snail, yes. They are prolific breeders and reproducers. Some people don't mind them and control the population with less feeding and manual removal. Others let them be.
