Baby rabbit snail temperature

My tank consists of various danios, peppered corys, nerite snails and one rabbit snail which has now had a baby. I keep my tank at 24C/75F. However during a heatwave the tank temp went up to 28C/81F. So the rabbit snail has had a baby. I'm guessing is the 75F too cold for the rabbit. Its always eating and moving around and seems happy. When the temperature goes back to normal will it be OK for the baby rabbit? I don't really want to up it to 25 as that's too hot for the danios/coreys

Mine seem to be fine at 76 on average. I actually keep the temperature lower in summer because it's harder to regulate . the heater.
I think just under 80 is good. 78 may be ideal. 72 is starting to get too cool.
Mine slow down when they are cold. It's noticeable.

Range is 72 to 82 for me.
I have like 50 rabbits. Very few deaths and all are active almost constantly.

Seems very important that they are acclimated to the tank, which just takes time. Then, they can put up with almost anything.
Or course sufficient water hardness and a ph that is not under 7 supports their shell health.

Agreed. My Zebra Danios love the 76-77F (25C) degree area. That is when they are most active.

So is 75 too cold for rabbits? Would putting it to 76/77 be better? I don't want babies every month tho. I mean the one I have had for months only had a baby due to the tank being so warm because the weather has been so hot

No I think 75 is fine. Like you say warmer means more reproduction. Just watch behavior. If they slow down a lot, they may be cold. Mine are active all day and night for the most part. They are rarely inside their shells.

Thank you. Is their a reason why my mummy rabbit snails shell is going a paler colour? On the dark brown part of the shell its turning a pale yellow colour?

My guess is it could be some erosion from needing calcium. All my adult purchased yellows have the same. They are fine, though.

I like Ph above 7 for my snails.
Make snail jello or pucks.
Look up on google.
Look for a big cuttlefish bone and break some into tank. Big ones are softer.

High calcium blanched veggies like dandelion or kale could help.

Keeping ph out of the acid range seems to be very important in my experience.
And overcrowding drains calcium quickly.

I have the one rabbit and four nerites. I have cuttlefish bone in the tank but none have touched it so I guessed they're getting enough from the crushed coral in the water. I'm gonna put more crushed coral in to raise it above 7. I'm having a nightmare at the minute with fish. They seem be dying every two to three weeks one at a time. The snails and Cory's are just carrying on but my danios seem be going one at a time. The joys. The rabbit snail baby was some good news instead of bad lately

Sorry to hear that.
That would stress me out a lot.
Hope one of the fish experts here have a suggestion.
Baby does indicate that snails are doing well.

May be obvious, but check parameters for keeping danios. Maybe they aren't as compatible with rabbits. I'm finding temp and ph requirements for rabbits prevent me from keeping certain fish.
I'm not experienced with fish so just a thought.
