HI everyone, I have 5 baby mollies that I put into a nursery tank. When I just looked in the nursery tank, I see only 4! I look into the main tank and there he is swimming all about in the bottom! Its probably the one that took 45 mins to catch!! lol These little plastic nursery tanks are so collapsable that it fell apart when I just touched it. How can I make a lid out of panthose so the babies don't keep jumping out?? And is there a way to make these nursery tanks more secure? Thanks everyone.

What one do you have? I find the Top Fin brand to be really cheap... <.<

I used to have the Lee's brand one, and I really liked it. I have the Top Fin one now, and it was a pain the butt to put together. Upside, I've got it to stay together and function, downside, its stuck together, so now storing it sucks LOL

It should have come with some plants, correct? You might try floating the plants in there Also, take the the thing out of the tank, and give it a good squeeze at each connection point.

I did and it just barley slips in the grooves but doesn't really snap into place like it should. Ihave the babies already in it too. Yes it came with plants, I put them in along with a small live plant that is floating. Its just being a pain! Nothing around here is easy! lol Is the lee's made differently?

I had to use a flat head screw driver to help me out with putting mine together Took me nearly 10 minutes to get the silly thing together!

The Lee's brand is the two frames (top and bottom) and four legs.

Well you put yours together quicker than I did! I will just try and get a new one tomorrow because I don't feel like letting them boogers out in the tank and having to recapture them!!! lol Thanks for your help!!

I forgot to ask you how I could keep the lil baby from jumping back out? I have some pantyhose but don't know how I would use it. Also are the Less brand where they can jump out too or does it have a lid?

I put the suction cup all the way up the railing, and let it hang from the suction cup, rather than float and use the suction cup to keep it in place. The Lee's one hangs from bendy metal clips.

I have the Lee one and love it I have my ghost shrimp fry in it and they are doing great I had to put a knee high over it seeing they are smaller than the slots but other than that it works great
