While I was feeding my tanks tonight, I got a pleasant surprise from a livebearer tank I recently set up. It has one male and four female dalmation mollies and one male and three female platys. 29g tank. I found little baby mollies that I was able to scoop out and put in a breeders net. These are our first molly fry in almost a year. We haven't had any females for awhile. I'm super excited! My very first fish babies when I was a little girl were mollies. That was 26 years ago. I was eight. Some of them are orange, so we may have platy fry, too.

I'm looking forward to raising these babies

Thank you ladies

My cichlids get me so stressed when they breed (I seem to lose the spawn), so this is a very welcome change.

Our last batch of molly babies did great until a horrible crisis with Shelby's tank.
