Awesome way to keep track of stuff

I got this idea from my favorite LFS.

Elmer's paint pens (the flat kind, not the 3D kind) write well on glass and show up well when dry. That gave me a great idea that has been working well for us. on the side of each tank we write the date of the last water change, what the water parameters were after that change, and if there is any more fish room in the tank. Across the bottom of the front of the tank we write what the tank occupants names are if they have them or just what kind of fish they are if they don't have individual names. No more paper fishy journal for us!!

Hamsterman - Do they clean off the glass? Otherwise after a while we won't be able to see the fish.

yep, they scrape right off with a razor blade and the glass isn't hurt a bit.

you can also use alcohol if you don't want to scrape. Make sure you clean teh alcohol off tho.

Me too! I try to keep track of my schedule, and then I lose the book! It's time to get me one of these, and stick one to everything important; keys, phone, ipod, daughter.....

Well only if they're covered in fish tanks. Actually, that's as good a reason as any to do just that: cover every bit of wall with fish tanks.
