Average nerite snail size?

How big do nerite snails get on average? I saw they get about an inch over the course of a full year but a new guy I got about 6 months ago was 1/2 inch when i got him and now he’s 1 1/2 inches and I’m pretty sure he’s not a year old yet. I’m not sure exactly what type but I think he’s a racer. Here’s a picture

I'm pretty sure you measure nerites by how big their shells is, since it's hard to tell how long their foot is. Some nerites, just like fish, can grow bigger than their average size just because they are in a better environment, with more food than they get normally. I've noticed that olive nerites tend to grow a lot bigger than other kinds, but yours could just be a big snail.

Yes, I actually was saying that I've noticed that olive nerites, out of all the types of nerites, seemed to grow the fastest and biggest, but a tiger/zebra/whatever other nerites could also grow bigger than average.

Most nerites reach a shell size of 1 inch. Bigger than that is rare.
