HAHA!!! LOL!!! $100,000 FOR ONE FISH!!! Who is insane enough to pay that much for a fish!? LOL, never heard of anything this ridiculous. The best cat and dog breeds in the world don't even come close in price to that fish, lol. In fact maybe even horses don't cost that much! I mean, in some states in the US, that's the price some people pay for a house (not as a downpayment, but as the full price of the house, lol).

Well as the fish is in Australia you better start digging once you get there I'm not sure what the attraction is...... I see he recently sold one for $10000 USD.

A little bit of a delayed response to this (over a year) but lung fish are very easy to catch in australia. However it is illegal to keep them and they must be put back immediately. Hence the price.

Many championship winning koi go for much more than 100,000$ in Japan.

There was a post about this a few months back...... Except someone posted that the most expensive fish was a rare platinum arowana. I think people were starting offers at $50,000 and they ended up turning down $100,000 in the long run. Why, I don't know. I'm surprised there is ANOTHER fish of that price.

For me to buy a fish at one TENTH of this price, it has to dance, like the red sox, help me with my homework, and poop gold coins.
