Australe Killifish Questions

I've been wanting to get into killies for a while, but it seemed, and to an extent still seems a bit daunting. But, man, those colors and fins are to die for. I think I've decided that my first attempt will be chocolate australe. I'm doing research online, and they seem pretty easy, but I do have some questions. Will multiple males get along in a twenty high? Or do I need to have separate tanks? How do I induce spawning? Is it better to buy eggs or a pair? Will they eat white cloud minnows? Can I pond breed them over summer? I'd add a boat load of floaters like water lettuce and then some hornwort. Could I raise a group in a 10? Do the fry need live food?
This last question I feel like is a no, but anybody try them with paradise fish? I have 2 right now, but they don't really like each other, so I'm either making a divider or setting up a second tank to make space for the australe killifish.
Thanks in advance for any help u guys can give!

I see no reason they wouldn't get along in a 20 high, just my personal opinion, you should get pairs just because it's more interactive. I'm not too sure about how to induce spawning though, sorry. I'm sure you could pond breed them if you keep the conditions right, most fry will benefit from baby brine shrimp so I'd use that. As for the paradise fish, I think adults could go with them as long as they're mostly grown, but don't expect much fry to get past them if any

Thanks for the info! I wasn't planning on breeding in with paradise fish, moreso just throwing excess fish with them.
Do you know where to get pairs for less than 50 bucks each? The main reason I was thinking eggs was that it's more cost effective, but a pair works make me feel more secure, cuz then I won't have to work about screwing up the fry the first few times, cuz I can always get more from a pair.

Sorry, not sure, but you could try "forced pairs"; just get one of each sex at a time and wait for them to pair then repeat.

I found a place that sells sexed pairs for 23 USD with good reviews, but they only do overnight, thus eliminating the benefits of the cheaper price lol. Looks like I got some saving to do

Yeah, lots of people that sell fish on here will only give a guarantee if you pay for express shipping so it's pretty common.
