Attaching Java Moss To Lava Rock

Hey guys, I picked up some java moss today and want to attach it to lava rock but I'm not sure on the best way to attach it. How can I get it to stick without having little bits and pieces flying off? Should I tie it down with thread or is some aquarium safe super glue better?

I use fishing line too, but I have marimo moss tied down with thin thread. I like fishing line best, especially since it comes I clear.

I use black cotton thread to tie java moss to driftwood. It usually attaches within about a month

I like the stretchy nylon thread used in jewelry making. It only lasts a couple months in water but by then the roots attach on their own.

I like to use cotton thread as well, e.g. embroidery thread. By the time it dissolves in water and falls apart, the roots are well attached and they're easy to remove when they break
