Removed from what?
You will need a separate tank to grow them out in, but two weeks is old enough to be in their own tank for grow out, you may want to use a small/medium sized tank to insure you can get food to them.

From the parents, and yes I have other tanks cycled and ready for various fry. They don't last very long without a separate tank.

At what age CAN they removed from their parents?

Zero! Lol remove whenever you are ready.

The real question is how long can they STAY with their parents. And I'd say just a few weeks. They start to pick at their parents slime coats.

Thanks for the quick reply's, I need to pick up another heater tomorrow, I was thinking about splitting them up between 2 10 gal. and one 5 gal., the 5 will only have about 5 or so in it until I can get the 17 tall going, I should have it up and running in about a week.

How long does it take for the baby's to start looking like a angel, mine are about 1/4" now at 20 days old.
