I don't have much luck with plants. The method that I've adopted is to try a few different plants and see what lives and what dies.

That method + extreme forgetfulness = me not knowing what plant or plants these are.

Can anyone help?

The shorter plants on the left are mondo grass, not fully aquatic and will die within a month or so. The taller ones look like a species of sagittaria.

Dwarf Sag was one that I tried, but those things are 18 inches tall (and growing?).

I know for sure that I didn't knowingly buy Mondo Grass. Is it commonly labeled with another name?

The tall plant is a vallisneria species, probably Italian val. The shorter one isn’t mondo grass. It’s dwarf sag.
