Assassin snails with Neocaridinas

So I posted a couple weeks ago about getting an assassin snail to get rid of my bladder snail problem. But I moved him to another tank because he wasn't doing so hot in the one I wanted him in. Since then I have been trying to catch out the snails from the infestation and put them in the other tank so he can keep them in check. But now I'm looking at probably around 100 bladder snails and they're such a pain to get rid of. I recently got some blue velvet shrimp and they're doing great. But want to make sure the assassin won't eat them. I'm assuming he shouldn't but I've heard they can, especially if they're smaller. My shrimp are still young maybe half an inch at most. Last thing I need is my assassin taking a chunk out of an $8 shrimp.

Not common for them to. We have members here with huge colonies of shrimp that have assassins in them. With the amount of bladders in your tank they shouldn't even need to think about shrimp anyway. They have been known to occasionally snag a few cherries that are molting, but not entirely common. I'm sure they will be fine.

Thanks! That's good to hear. I figured with the numbers it wouldn't be as big an issue but you never know. If they can live in peace with colonies that's good enough for me

They will hunt under the substrait and you may not see them until the surface to mate which I found to be around every 6ish weeks

Oh also I forgot. I have a nerite snail in there too. Assuming I should move him to another tank for the time being. He's not very big yet, a hair smaller than the assassin

To be safe I would I've had an assassin eat a nerite but wasn't sure if its food source had run out
