Assassin Snails Diet

So I have a juvenile assassin snail with my 5 gallon betta tank with a nertite snail.

I feed the betta once a day a variety of food along with placing a small piece every 2 days of algae wafer for the snails. In addition I have a very established Anubis in the tank.

Will the assassin snail be okay?

The assassin snail needs meat.. Try some sinking wafers.

The wafers I am giving are the omega one veggie rounds which have meat.

Thanks for input. Basically I just need to put alittle more food when feeding the betta.

Bettas and assassin snails are both carnivores.

When I had them, I fed them frozen Bloodworms. Also, whenever I went to the lfs, I would as if they would like to get rid of a few pest snail, or sell a couple for cheap. I would do that about 2-3 times a month. I would only put in 2 at a time.

After the pest snail population runs out, they can be fed sinking foods like veggie wafers (they have small amounts of meat), or sinking invertebrate sticks.

Thanks everyone. I moved the assassin snail back to my main 15 gallon tank. There are still bladder snails (not many) but main reason why I did this was because I can feed more food in the tank since there are 8 tetras, 2 guppies, 3 ghost shrimp, 3 Nerite snails, and 5 assassin snails now (maybe more because the 3 I bought multiplied).

The 5 gallon now has a betta and nerite snail. I still add some algae wafer for the snail along with dried almond leaves and other detritus or the algae from Anubis.

Never did a 5 gallon so learning.
