I have recently gotten 3 assassin snail to get rid of pond snails and mts infestation. Now I'm seeing hundreds of what seems to be eggs all over my driftwood and stones in the tank. Eggs look like little square shape see through things with a yellow/orangish spot in the middle. I thought these don't reproduce fast but from the amount of eggs I'm seeing......

They were given the mermaids purse name because of the similarities with sharks eggs,

Looking at pictures 3,4,6 they look like assissan eggs but one assissan wont lay all them in one go so you must have had a few lay at the same time, if memory serves assissan on lay about 8 in one go

Well I only have 3 so unless all 3 are females then the eggs shouldn't hatch?
