Assassain snail acting strange

    Hello all:)
    I have 4 assassin snails and one has attached itself to my plant and has not moved for hours
    Iv never seen them on any vegetation and now theirs a odd strand near her

    I think its probably fine, there has been times when my snail hasn't moved for a day or two.

    Mine dig themselves into the gravel most of the time.
    Seem to come out at night...

    when i clean my driftsood I also find a lot of them on the bottom (inner) side of it.

    It seems fine it's not on plant anymore but it doesn't move often

    That to me is not an abnormal behaviour for them.

    I see mine moving most often when the lights of my tank are off, or when they just turn on.

    Yes I do with Kinsey snails I believe
    They don't do much harm just a eyesore

    Since assassin snails are carnivores they need snails to feed off of.

    An LFS got in a large shipment of assassin snails a few weeks ago and now there are like 20% of the pond snails there used to be. They are killing Sammy's snails! :mad:

    And that's my only experience with assassin snails.

    I assume pond snails shells are not hard for ur puffer to bite through :)
