Are they fighting?

hey guys. I have 6 neon tetras in my 20 gallon, with no other fish. the first 3 days I had them they were very peacefull and schooled. today there all chasing eachother and are seperated. are they fighting?

naaaa, I doubt it. neons tend to be quite peaceful. They're probably just spreading out adjusting to the new tank. Oh, and I had serpae tetras that would get playful and chase each other around. But it wasn't bullying, it was just them playing. Unless you see one getting beat up I would just let it go and watch what happens for now.

alright thanks. ive noticed that one went and sat in the corner for a while, but is now back in the group. I hope its just playing

if it is fighting it could be over teritory...nothing I would personaly worry about....it funny if you have to little decor in your tank then there's more territory fights ...then if you have to much there's not enough room for fighting...but anyways with tetras don't worry
