Are these sunset honey gourami?

I bought 6 honey gourami and 3 sunset honey gourami. I think the ones sold as sunset gourami were mislabeled. Can anyone tell me what type of gourami this is?

The three interact almost exclusively with each other, and the nibble on my hand when I do a water change whereas the others do not.

While the 3 sunset gourami mostly interact with each other, I am concerned they are different type and will be aggressive with the honey gourami when grown. I've had them maybe 2 months.

Those are Sunset Thick Lip Gouramis, and it appears that you have three males. Definitely bad to put them with Honey Gouramis, they will get much larger and are way more aggressive.

I do find Gourami to be easier than others to actually net..... for the most part....

 

I almost had to get in the tank to catch an anglefish.

 

The shops should really stop calling red morph thicklips honey gouramis to avoid confusion. When they started appearing in stores around here about 10 years ago they were sold as red robin gouramis.

 

Best possible outcome, shop took the fish back and gave me a refund. Thanks for your help.

There are so many species that have similar tradename problems...

 

The shopkeeper tells me he is having problems with getting what he actually ordered. He said he recently ordered some amono shrimp and got cherries, said it's gotten much worse lately.
