I just ordered some RCS for my new 10G nano tank and the seller said that they would be shipped with duckweed, guppy grass, and frogbit. Can I place any of these plants in the tank? (I already have a small amount of anubias and peacock fern in the tank.) the tank is is being cycled and will have 2 small pieces of driftwood put in as soon as I'm done treating them.

Removed the duckweed If you don't want a invasion of duckweed to happen.

Nonetheless just check the plants If there are hitch hikers.

Check the water, RCS are softwater shrimps so they don't like hardwater. Acclimate them properly because they are very sensitive to big water changes.

Welcome to the forum. I like the tank. Looking forward to pictures when it is all set up and with the new plants and shrimp. Alison

LOL! Although in my limited experience, and maybe this is easier in small tanks, I've had no problem dealing with duckweed that sneaked into my tank in the past. I use a fine fish net and scoop through the surface of the water every day to remove any little pieces that might have escaped my notice and eventually it will be gone
