Are These Pics 2 Male Honey Gourami?

Are these both male? Wanted one M/F. Got them last week along with a pair of Bolivian rams who were to be mixed but also appear to be 2 males. Headed to lfs to trade in one of the rams, wondering if I should do the same with a gourami. Thank you!

Also, the top fish with flayed orange tipped fins is frequently chasing and intimidating the slightly smaller bottom Pic with yellow tipped fins.

The 2nd picture is female and the first picture appears to also be female.
Hope this helps

Are you sure? What I read is that males have pointed dorsal fins like both of above and that is only way to sex juveniles.

These are natural, wild colored, not a color morph.

Here's the more orange one (top Pic) without fins flared.

From my experience with gouramis is the females have a rounded dorsal and those fish look to have rounded dorsals
Males will have a very noticeable dorsal point.
Hope this helps

Hmm, OK. I thought they were both pointed but no basis of comparison. In that case I may just return one of my male rams and keep one and add a male honey to this pair of females.

Do you have a Pic of what a pointed dorsal would look like?

I think both are male for the same reason.

Yeah, the more I'm researching, the more it seems they are both male. Maybe the yellow one is female, maybe, but don't think so. Neither have the gray lateral stripe of a female. One did at the LFS (was only there 2 days) and first couple days in my tank. But it faded as I understand it will on males when not stressed. Neither are rounded behind the ventral fins either. The pics on seriouslyfish and elsewhere show the pointed dorsals of the males to be similar to mine, and the females more rounded as well as the analfins not having that extra fan tip at the back.
But, other opinions welcome, I'm going purely on random googling.

Those are two of the worst examples of Trichogaster chuna that I've ever seen. In good health and decent conditions the female should at least show a faint stripe on the flanks, and even when not in breeding colors the male should have some color on the body. Those are two of the most unsexable fish one could imagine.

HOWEVER, if you go back to Seriously Fish and look, you will notice that the males have yellow edging on the analfin, while females have orange. Not sure how consistent that characteristic might be, but I would guess that the first is a female and second is a male based on that and some slight difference in body shape. And bear in mind that if you Google Honey Gourami, a large percentage of the photos are actually Sunset Thicklips that have been mislabeled.

Here's my horrible, unsexable male that I kept (the yellow one) after returning the other and replacing with a more obvious female. He's coloring up nicely.
