Are These Pellets To Big For Small Fish?

I was lucky enough to find new life spectrum thera+a at Petco about a week ago, and I can’t tell if they’re to big for my fish to eat. It seems like the fish in my 20 long do eat some of them when they swarm to the top, but it’s a little hard to tell. Meanwhile the tetras in my other tank completely ignore them. I’m trying to switch them over from the HikarI micro pellets I was feeding them because of the corn and other filers that I don’t like, but they only seem to like those and the omega one flakes I rotate with. They won’t even touch the omega one minI veggie pellets I got them.

Anyways it would be helpful to also list the fish I have beside the tetras. A school of six Lambchop Rasboras, three guppies, a pair of honey Gouramis, and four adult panda Corys and their hoard of fry.

If they don't fit in the fishes mouth they're too big. You can soak and mash them, or chop them up in a blender before feeding them to the fish : - )

Could I put the entire container in the blender and then put the smaller bits back in the container? That way I’m not constantly cutting them up.

If the pellets are soft enough to crumble in your fingers you can just feed them that way as well.

NLS pellets are hard and quite difficult to crumble. Are you able to return them for the smaller sized ones?

It looks like you got the 1mm pellets. For the fishes you have I'd imagine the micro pellets that are 0.5 to 0.75mm would be way easier for your fishes to eat.

I keep similar sized fishes as you, and they take the NLS micro pellets without issues. Even my honeys prefer the micro pellets.

I already chopped them up in the blender so I doubt I can return them now, but I will look online for the smaller pellets, since PetCo only seems to carry the one size.
