Fishowner24

My plants won’t grow and when they do this starts happening is this from fish? I would show you all the fish I have to see if any one of them could of ate it but I am to lazy so I will post a picture of them instead! There is 2 mollies but you can’t see them. Thanks!

Any snails? Mollies don't tend to eat plants like that

I have 4 nerites but I never see them doing it. Maybe they do when I am at school idk.

Mudminnow

The leaves look like they've been nibbled to me. If they were nibbled, I don't see any obvious culprits in your tank. I guess it's time to do a stakeout.

yeah tomorrow I have no school so I will just watch them. Thanks!

I see you have black skirts , try feeding them a blanched spinach leaf. My tetras love them and will eat my floaters if not fed veggiebased foods regularly. Boiled broccoli and zucchini also work for me

ok I will try that. How often should I feed it to them? also I have a red tail shark but I don't think he eats plants. Only algae. Does them eating my plants kill them? Or can they still grow back. Also The leaves that have been bit. Should I remove them, or will the heal? Thanks!

They'll grow new leaves just fine. I had a mystery snail eat a bunch of leaves on one of my plants and I still have the plant (bite marks and everything)

You don't have many plants at all so I'd leave the leaves be even if bit; I'd try to get a lot more plants to provide hiding places to your fish as well. Maybe some floating ones too?

I feed fresh veggies once a week I think
Nom nom..

ok thanks! I have floaters coming. I have a problem with nutrient deficiencies and BBA so the leaves that show a deficiency or the ones with BBA I cut off. The ones that show deficiencies should I cut them off? Thanks!
